A note on 'Nature and the self'?

Nature I've found can serve as a reminder of all that I forget

when caught up in comparisons, competitions, and judgement,

unable to be present in the moment.

While I often find it hard, it is a practice that can be cultivated at a pace

that works for you if you choose.

I hope these series of photographs, videos and quotes remind you that you are just as unique, that there is value in all that you are and have to offer even when another may not have recognized it.

Here's another little practice that I've found helpful, if you wish to try, go check it out:

The practice of turning people into trees, and learning to appreciate them just the way they are: Ram Dass (Spiritual teacher, Psychologist, and Author),

often spoke about this practice on the Here and Now Podcast.

Always be Patient with yourself and Keep Growing!
